another snow storm

well here we are under another snow watch...

this has been the longest winter ever

march 4th and still no grass in site, everything covered in snow and more coming.

They are calling for snow for the next seven days!!!!

24 more days to go....Daytona here i come!!!

dac, I%26#39;m on the Punta Cana forum all the time. Most travellers to that area are Canadians and that is always the topic of conversation...the nasty winter you%26#39;re having up there. It really makes you appreciate warm weather and look forward to a Daytona Beach vacation doesn%26#39;t it?

I never take this gorgeous weather for granted. This is one of my favorite times of year here. I don%26#39;t need AC and it%26#39;s just perfect to have all my windows and sliders open. I just doesn%26#39;t get any better then this:) Have fun on your vaca only a few days left for you now!

It has been the worst winter for us up here,

snow storms almost every week and freezing cold

i cannot wait till i can spend 3 months in daytona.

Yes DB would be nice about now. Here in Ohio the same thing, much snow and a lot of ice. Oh, where is global warming?

I agree it has been a long winter. Snow/freezing rain in the forecast for tomorrow%26#39;s commute. What fun. can%26#39;t beleive that Easter and Spring are about 2 weeks away. Although our condo is reserved I have not bought our airline tickets yet. Last year I got them for $59, right now they are $84.

NH is not much better guys. We are actually defrosting today...lots of melting snow. I will be in Daytona Beach the 1st weekend in April and it seems like it will never come! Its about 40 degrees out today...almost feels like spring! How sad is that?

LOL@ global warming. Snowed a little more here this morning. Just think, I could hop on SWA out of our airport (Kansas City International) and be in Orlando in 2 hours and 25 minutes (non stop flight) grab a rental car and be on that beach in a total of about 4 hours!! Amazeing. SWA has some $89.00 fares posted today too...... sigh.....

Punz it took me 14 hours to get from Dayton Ohio to Orlando yesterday, and that was by air. Flying out of the bad weather is a great idea, it is just if the airlines and weather co operate to get you to your destination!

Oh no! I saw some airports were having problems on the news but had no idea you were involved. My gosh I bet you were exhausted! Did you get bumped or just have to wait? what airlines were you with? Glad you are back safe!

I flew airtran, was supposed to leave today, I called very early Friday morning and they got me on a connecting flight out that afternoon without paying any penalty. I think they just wanted to get as many people moved as they could before the storm hit! I wanted to see snow this winter so I guess I got my wish. LOL
