Need airport code for the St. Augustine Airport or major airport closest to St. Augustine. Thanks!

Airport Code

St. Augustine is a private airport - open to small Lear jets owned by private people and companies. Are you in this group? If not, Jacksonville Airport - code JAX is about an hour away, but the closest commercial airport.

SGJ is the code for the St. Augustine Airport, which has begun limited commercial service with SkyBus ( skybus.com ) a low fare/no frills carrier which can only be reserved online at their website.

Currently there is nonstop service to SGJ from Columbus OH (CMH), Greensboro NC (Triad Airport) , or the greater Boston area ( Pease Airport in Portsmouth NH ).

The commercial service is seperated from the Private Aviation/General Aviation at the airport.

Dunrobin15, welcome to the forum. I see you are new to T/A. You can post a new topic by clicking on the ';Post a new forum topic'; above the first page of the forums. This would be better than bringing up a post of almost three years ago which sounds like conflicting information to what you posted yesterday because the information three years ago was totally different than now.

Not everyone looks at the dates of posts and could be confused with mine from 2005 which you revived from the archives. Thanks, I think this would be less confusing to travelers.
