Family Reunion-Looking for a destination

We are semi familiar with Florida but we looking for a new destination for a family reunion.

6 Adults/ 2 Children- First week in April.

Some of family is coming from West Palm Beach- other 1/2 from Orlando. Will Drive and meet up. East or West Coast.

Of course Beach is important. Don%26#39;t want corporate commercial. Last year we met in Destin/PCB.

Any suggestions?

Have a look at Anna Maria Island - great beaches and definately not commercialised, there are no high rise buildings and only one chain restaurant (Shells).Lots of locally owned restaurants, plenty of houses or condos to rent.
