naples; which airport from uk?

hi, which would be the best airport to arrive at and then drive to naples.i would fly direct from london so i beleive miami or orlando are my options.

Miami would be ideal. all you need to do is drive about an hour across alligator alley and you are in naples. Orlando to Naples is about 3 hours by car

The nearest airport for Naples is actually Fort Myers (South West Florida International) and this is usually accessible if you are flying scheduled. We are flying there using US Airways via Philadelphia.

Ft. M is a great airport, I flew home out of it in December. No crowds (that I could see) and all around nice atmosphere and easy to get to.

If you do fly into Miami, do yourself a favour and allow 2 hours for the drive unless you plan on getting a few speeding tickets. I may take you almost 30 minutes to get out of the Miami rental car area.

It may take you a good 30 minutes from the Miami rental car area to that part of I-75 heading East to Naples.

That should be ';West to Naples';. (My brain must be on vacation).

We use Ft Lauderdale for lots of our flights. It%26#39;s a straight hour drive with no traffic across I75. You can often get very good prices into Ft Lauderdale. Miami is another 1/2 hour south of Lauderdale. Although Ft Myers is a great airport, it has fewer long haul flights into it. Tampa is about 2 1/2 hours north
