We are coming to Ft Lauderdale April 7 - 14. Looking for accommodations and there seems to be so many great ones to choose from. We%26#39;ve narrowed it down to a few - The Royal Palm; New Zealand House; The Flamingo and The Cabanas. We%26#39;re looking to relax and meet other couples. Since all of these places vary in size, yet they all have great reviews, which one would be best to get to meet people?
Gay Couple to Fort Lauderdale - Best place to stay?
I would PM the people who have stayed at these places, I think you would get more information that way. It seems that the gay establishments have got it right as regards good standards of accommodation. On our visits to Fort Lauderdale we have seen plenty of gay couples (male and female), but if you want a really relaxed attitude Key West might be a better option.

We stayed at the Royal Palms last Fall and really liked it. It%26#39;s a small place which makes it a bit more intimate than a larger resort. The hotel was not busy during our stay, so we didn%26#39;t get the opportunity to meet many people.
While I have no hesitation recommending The Royal Palms as a great place to stay, if meeting other couples is important to you, you may stand a better chance of meeting more couples at a larger place?
