we are staying at hampton inn for 2 nights. first trip to the keys..traveling with 2 kids 13%26amp; 14. Did we make a good choice in hotel?? reviews say so. but for our first visit? is hampton inn within walking distance of shops, restaurants? what is it near? any help would be appreciated.

It%26#39;s a really nice place and one of the best things about it is there is an Outback Steakhouse attached!!

The Hampton is a chain hotel so it lacks the local flavor. Having said that, it is a nice place. Lazy Days is walking distance and one of the best restaurants in Isla. I%26#39;ve heard bad things about the Outback but there are are several great places to eat nearby.
