delano hotel pool

Hello, my friends and I are going to Miami for a bachelorette party. There will be about 8 girls - we probably cannot afford to stay at the Delano but would like to go to the pool during the day. I read that you can sneak in if you dress nicely, buy a drink and tip well.

By ';tipping well'; how much should we tip? Does that go per person?

Because there are 8 of us, I am not sure i we can walk in inconspicuously and do this... any suggestions? What is the policy at the pool?

How much does it cost to rent a cabana for the day?

What are the other good pools to go to?

Does dress nicely mean wear a nice bikini or do we have to cover up a bit more, and wear a nice outfit on top of that?

The pool at the Delano might be a no-fly zone. There are posh poolside bungalows to rent and cabanas to rent, but showing up in a bikini might not get you and 7 friends into the pool unnoticed. I would suggest lunch %26amp; tanning next door poolside at the Raleigh instead. You can also call Nikki Beach Club and get a reservation for a sunbed and free drinks if you tell them you are 8 bachelorettes!!

best chance to get in - go EARLY. like before 10am. there%26#39;s less likelihood of them being strict at that point.

you really can%26#39;t ';sneak in,'; no matter how nicely you dress...and buying a drink or tipping (unless by tipping you mean bribing the hotel staffer guarding the pool (which of course is not recommended ;) )) will not help, as to get to the bar, you need to first walk through the pool area, which, if you were able to do, you wouldn%26#39;t need to go to the bar :)

just go early, be nice to the staff, and in the worst case, if you get the boot, go next door to the Raleigh or National, which are frankly just as nice, if frequented by a somewhat less glamorous crowd.
