I need advice on visiting Cocoa Beach on the day of a scheduled space ctr. launch.....is th atraffic insane coming from Orlando??

The traffic is heavy, not insane. Just add an extra hour or so to your plans for congestion and you should get wherever you want to go with time to spare.
