Thinking of spending 10 days in the Tampa Bay area in June but not sure where to stay. Would like to stay in a hotel close to or on a beach to use as a base. Will rent a car for a few days to explore the coast line.
Would like to be within walking distance of restaurants and with lots to do, but not a crowded party town. We enjoy walking, exploring small towns, nice restaurants. Won’t have kids with us.
Any recommendations? Thanks.
Good Location
In the Tampa Bay area, look into Clearwater Beach, Treasure Island or St. Pete Beach.
For day trips, shopping and restaurants in downtown Dunedin and the Sponge Docks area of Tarpon Springs.
