Tennis accomodation

If there is anyone out there that could offer some advice I would really appreciate it.

Six adults are planning a trip to Tops%26#39;l tennis. We need to rent a place around the end of March begining of April for a week to 10 days. We want 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. One member of the group mentioned that he would like to be very near to the courts, perhaps with a balcony overlooking them. Another one of the group would prefer to not be in a high rise. And I like good value for our dollar. Also we want full access to the tennis facilities.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Check out Holiday Surf %26amp; Racquet Club. Their website is www.holidaysurf.com. They don%26#39;t have 3 bedroom units, just 1%26#39;s and 2%26#39;s, but they meet your other criteria.

Tennis accomodation

Within Tops%26#39;l Resort, there are vacation homes called Sierra Dunes. Look at:

resortquestdestinvacations.com/rental/…

Rising Sun, Rum Point, Serenity Hideaway and Serengeti House . The last two have private pools in addition to the two pools behind the club house.

The pool that is half in the club house is heated.

All four of the above seem to be available at the time you mentioned.

Jetty East has tennis courts and I believe they have a few 3 bedroom and 3 baths. If not they do have duplex units that are 2bedroom and 2 bath and a 1 bedroom and 1 bath connected with a door thru the living rooms. The website is www.jettyeast.net you can view the units. The beach may be a problem then very narrow.

Thanks for your help. We decided on Sierra Dunes ( Rum Point ) which we are renting through Resort Quest. For our first time in Destin and the main reason we are going is to play tennis, it seemed like our best bet. There are six of us going the end of March and I can%26#39;t wait.

I think you made a great choice to stay at Topsl. Its my favorite ';tennis place';. I am going with friends in February and we%26#39;ll be staying courtside, which is always my number one choice.

For future reference, check out Hidden Dunes. Its smaller than Topsl, but we%26#39;ve enjoyed staying there too.

I%26#39;ve also stayed in Sandestin. Its a nice resort but is so large and spread out. We had to drive to the courts instead of just walking.

Hope you have a great time!

The tennis pro%26#39;s name at Tops%26#39;l is Woody. Great guy! You will enjoy your stay.

Hey Semco, Woody has been there a long time, hasn%26#39;t he? We really liked him a lot.

Hi Brenda

We are really looking forward to our trip. Are you familiar with the homes at Sieera Dunes?? Are they far from the courts? We wanted 3 bathrooms and that%26#39;s the reason we chose to stay there. If you have any tips that could help us please share.Thanks- Pam

Bannda - Woody has been there as long as I remember. At least 10 years and maybe a lot longer.

He%26#39;s great.

new - I would estimate a 3 to 4 minutes walk to the courts, downhill on the way back.
