driving directions to the parks, please help

From I-Drive, simply follow the signs to I-4 West and take I-4 for about 10 miles from the upper end of I-Drive.

The Disney exits off I-4 are all very clearly marked and all exit to the right side of the highway. Each park and venue is clearly ';signed'; so you%26#39;ll have no problems following the directions.

what i always do is head to the tourist information bereau on i-drive i think its at trolley stop 21. Its beside a restaurant called don pablos. Anyway great place to pick up maps and info on all the places you wish to drive to although having said that most of the major attractions are very well signposted anyway. Just be very vigilant coming up to your exit when your on i-4 they tend to put the exit numbers right on top of the off ramp leaving you no time to react if you miss it. You should be fine i have been going to orlando for the last 6 years and drive every year without any problems after a day or two you will be a natural trust me.

Driving from Sanford is almost as easy.

When you leave Sanford airport the road swings round and heads West. I you continue on this it will lead to I-4 But I advise you keep off that at the time of day you will be landing.

3 miles from the airport you will see a Motorway type road crossing the one you are on Via bridges,

This is the 417 Greenway you need to take this south.

Get into the L/H lane before the bridges and go left Passing a filling station on your right.

Follow signs 417 . Disney Parks, Tampa. You will need a few dollars because this is a toll road but they do give change . Keep out of the Sun Pass lanes at the tool booths.

Continue on this road for about 25 miles.

You will then see signs for 528 Beaches expressway.

%26amp; Orlando International Airport.

Take this road and go past the airport and the end the runways to Exit 8 . Leave on Exit 8. As you come off R/H lane you come to a junction with light Keep Straight on Down Mc Coy road. After a couple of miles this become Sand Lake Road. Just keep straight on.

On your L/H side you will see 3 entrance to Florida Mall and then a big X roads where Orange Blossom trail crosses it is also road No 441,17,%26amp;92. Keep straight on.

Another 6-7 miles you will come to International Drive.

You will have to turn Right or left depending where you Hotel is.

This will keep you out of the most congested part of I-4 and avoid some unfamiliar junctions.

Basically its just 2 straight roads. You only have to make the turning off 417 onto 528 West,

brilliant, and thanks for all your help.

Couple of more things; Just remember that odd number roads go north south. Evans East -West.

Where there are 3 or more lanes keep out of the near side lane as some of these qickley turn into exit an enrty ramps. And if you get stuck in one you will have to Exit. And this is often the cause of pepole losing their way.
