should i cancel my trip to surf club of marco

i booked it for a romantic get away with my husband for my 40th birthday on 8/25 thru 9/1 but now i%26#39;m very nervous .......any help?

the weather i heard the humidity is going to be awful

It%26#39;s southern Florida in August....yeah it%26#39;s gonna be humid. BUT, it%26#39;s humid almost everywhere in the U.S in August. You%26#39;re on a gorgeous white sand beach with an ocean breeze. Yes it%26#39;s gonna be hot and yes it%26#39;s gonna be humid, but you%26#39;ll have an incredible beach with one of the most incredible sunsets in the world. What more could you ask for?? There are some of us who have trying to get there for years sans children...if you can get there without the kids, GO FOR IT!!!!

Go for it Girl..... tis a lovely island -lots of romantic restaurants..(shame we%26#39;ve always had our daughter with us!!)....sure you will enjoy....

Marco Island and the Surf Club will be wonderful for you. We own there. My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary there last year and we are going back this year. Romantic and relaxing and we always had a beautiful Carribean breeze.

Anyone know though? We are going mid-June. Has anyone been there at that time or around that time and what are the sunsets like in June?

I love the heat and humidity because we live in the desert the rest of the year, so look forward to that part. But someone told us that the sun may set north of the island in June

The summer is on of the best times to be down in the Marco/Naples areas. NO CROWDS!!!! My wife and kids spend a couple of weeks down there in July and i join them for a couple of weeks. I%26#39;s no hotter than the northeast in fact a few years ago it was hotter in NJ than FL. Enjoy!!!
