Universal Studios Meal Deal

Has anyone ever bought the Universal Meal Deal? It sounds like a great idea but I am not so sure. I have no idea what the food prices are in the park or portion size. Any advice is appriciated. We are going soon. They have the add an entree option for restaurants in City walk too and a sippy cup for $8.99 plus tax. I just don%26#39;t see much about dining in Universal.

I did this, and my god the biggest con ever. In one way yes i saved money. But have you seen the menus? All they have to offer is the worst most tasteless (looks like it is microwaved) pasta, and god awfull jelly (really it is awfull), and they have basically nothing else on the menu.

Go for it, just don%26#39;t expect an ample choice of foods.

Here%26#39;s a little more info about the '; Meal Deal '; and a link to the restaurants that are available

we never do it because of the limited menu options....it may be ok for teenagers who just want to eat something all day and dont really care about quality or choices

We%26#39;ve done it mainly because the kids will eat and eat all day and will drink Coca Cola out of stocks if the got the chance. Yes the menu is ';limited'; but it was exactly what they will eat. At one point an outlet was ';out'; of cheeseburgers so they asked if we wanted chicken instead.

Outlet in Island of Adventure near to Jurassic Park ride do the best bacon cheeseburgers ever tasted. As far as desert was concerned we got cookie every time and just put them in bag. if kids didnt eat them that day, took them back to hotel for snakcs later or when we went out other day.

is it worth it ....depends what you like to eat. is it a ';con'; as described above ...no.

What you ';cannot'; do is buy say two of these deals and go in twice if you are a family of four (yeh right!!!!).

Forgot to say, we added sippy cup (kids still use at home now) but not the Entree meal as we were in park ALLLLLLL day.

Thanks for the help! I think we will skip the meal deal we like to have more choices than what they offer.

hi can you take the food to go and mike i am shocked that you would think anyone would try to but 2 for say a family of four like ourselves lol

We looked at the meal deal in universal and worked out that it is only good if you go there early and have the breakfast then go for lunch and also the dinner, which as a previous poster states it dont look too good, so to be honest I would reccomending passing on it and taking in your own eatables in a back pack.

Cheers ;-) Wullie

If you%26#39;ve got kids you might want to consider the Kids Eat Free Card instead. www.kidseatfreecard.com

We did it and wished we hadn%26#39;t. Choices were limited and we were never near one of the restaurants when we wanted to refill the soda. Also, we went in November and the parks closed at 6 p.m. so to make it worth while we had to hurry and eat an early supper. I wouldn%26#39;t do it.
