My family is going to sanibel in july. Looking for a beach front hotel. Clean, quiet. Just 2 of us and our 13 year old daughter.

where to stay?

Sanibel does not have typical ';hotels'; as found in most other Florida beach locations. The main attraction is the island ambiance itself which is informal, laid back, and focused on the natural environment.

The majority of the accommodations basically fall into two main groups: %26#39;resort%26#39; motels and condo complexes- all of which are low-rise (four-story max) most but not all beachfront.

There are also a couple of quasi-resorts (Casa Ybel and Sundial)as well as some cottages.

Many clean options and July will be somewhat quiet just about anywhere.

Where to stay? Depends on your priority; Big pool? On-site restaurant? Kitchenettes or full kitchen??
