Basically what kind of money do you think I should be taking?

Also what is the comparsion in food prices to tescos from the uk?

As we have a villa it makes sense to eat there as often as possible.

Thanks for any response... :)

Food Budget + Money

You didnt say how many are going?

Food Budget + Money

I went over it twice as well. Damn!

2 Adults - 1 Child (9)

To get us through the day at parks, to include meals etc BUT also taking in to account there are only two of us with NO children we set aside 拢100 each day. We take more, because the shopping%26#39;s sooo good but as a rule 拢100 per day gets us through easily.

No comparsion to Tescos mate, you will eat like kings every day for half tesco prices. This may sound that we are tight with our money(i am a Yorkshireman)but what we have done in the past is buy a couple of big sandwiches from walmart the day before you go into the parks and take them with you and rent a locker then at lunch time get tucked in and that should see you through to evening meal.

If your kids are anything like ours get that credit card limit raised up.

We will be there at the end of March so leave some food on the shelves for us. Have a good one

So do you think 拢2000 will not be enough?

I can push it to 拢2500 if required.

At the current exchange rates, 2000 pounds should be enough for food, misc expenses, and even some shopping (and PLEASE tell me you will not be carrying that in cash!). Partially it depends on what you eat, will you be buying prepared instead of cooking, etc.

Figure lunch in the parks each day (you can carry, but it slows you down) will set you back $50 or so. $10-$15 for parking each day as well (I%26#39;m planning high, always better to do so). We%26#39;ll allocate another $60 for villa food per day (I%26#39;m assuming basic breakfasts). So thats $125 per day plus say $15 for misc expenses.

Total - $140 per day, or at current exchange rates around 77 pounds..x 21 days = 1477 pounds, leaving you 543 pounds for shopping.

Put the other 500 pounds in a debit card or something you can access aside from your main CC and keep that for emergency reserves...

I doubt very much if 2k would be enough, what would you be doing on your %26#39;days off%26#39;? Florida Mall, Mall at Millenia, Premium Outlets and so on, that%26#39;s what we do on our %26#39;days off%26#39;!!

if you will be doing some eating in, even jst breakfast, snacks drinks a couple of takeaway dinners etc that should be fine. do you have a cc or a debit card for backup?

We did the food plan at Disney got more food and new exactly what it cost.

It all depends on your food expectations. I would find 拢2000 more than enough for food and a bit of shopping. At todays exchange rate thats nearly $4000.

200 dollars a day should cover meals for 2 adults %26amp; 1 child nicely if you don%26#39;t eat in high end restaurants. Most places outside the parks are very reasonable. If you look at the Allears website, they have some menus from the park restaurants, that should help you judge.

Most expensive place we ate in last year was Micky Dees at Downtown Disney %26amp; we were staying and eating in the Disney Swan where we shared meals by the pool and then went to the Boardwalk of an evening for food.

Have a great time.
