Which water park do you like best? and Why?

I will be in Orlando for a week in May. I am 25 and traveling with my husband and another married couple (all about the same age). I%26#39;ve been to Orlando and the two disney water parts but it has been 8-9 years ago. I noticed there is also wet and wild and a new water park w/Seaworld? Not sure what it%26#39;s called. Which do you recommend and why? Thanks!

the seaworld waterpark will be called aquatica when it opens in march. i recommend you go there. it is going to be a VERY interesting waterpark...

if you decide for any reason NOT to go to aquatica, my second recommendation would be blizzard beach. it just seems to have more to do, and is better themed than typhoon lagoon(the other disney park).

IMO, wet %26#39;n wild is a great park, but it seems many times tourists don%26#39;t like it very much. its not themed at all, so its just a bunch of waterslides, sort of like how a six flags park has no theme, and is just a bunch of rollercoasters/amusement park rides all lumped together.

Which water park do you like best? and Why?

I prefer TL. Shadier and prettier than BB. The wave pool, the sand, the crusher gusher. what%26#39;s not to like?

Of those currently open we%26#39;d pick TL. Mainly because going to the water parks is for a relaxing day and this seem best suited to this.

Next visit in May this year, staying near SW so any waterpark trips will be to Aquatica. Why?

First time replying to any post on any forum! So here goes with my two peneth!!!

Got to be Typhoon Lagoon anytime and blizzard beach in a close second!!!

We are going in April and we are having the Flexticket which does not include Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard beach but boy will we make an extra effort to get to them both!!

Its a good question but to be fair each of the water parks has its great points and that makes it difficult to pick one as the ';best'; in my opinion:

Typhoon lagoon - love the snorkelling with the sharks and also the surf pool.

Blizzard Beach - gotta do ';Summit Plummet'; ;-) also the water slides.

Wet N Wild - great family rides and also the Knee surf.

as I say each park has its own thing that makes it unique so give them all a bash and make your own mind up its well worth it.

Oh and We cant wait to go to Aquatica it looks brill.
