Staying 4 days in April after a cruise. Embassy Suites at MIA. Never been to Miami but have done some research. Must do the Glades of course. Better to go west on Tamiami?, or south to Florida city? Would also like to see something of the keys area. Not willing to do the 4-5 hours to the bottom, thinking of a day trip to Key Largo. Worth the trip? thanks everyone !!

Yes the Keys is worth it. If you want to go to Key Largo, spend a day at John Pennekamp Park, there are many things to do there. Below is their website, so you can plan a day there.
