Indian Rock Beach Florida

Had stayed at the Sea Resort since 1969, now has been torn down and turned into condos. Was very disappointed. But found and stayed at the Blue Heron, which we fell in love with. Just steps to beach, consists of 8 cottages, four on each side and a pool. The cottage we rent has 2 bedrroms, 2 baths, washer dryer, full kitchen, gas bbq, beach chairs. All you have to bring are you clothes and toothbrush. They have toys for the kids to play with, the bedrooms can be closed off for complete privacy. Right on the gulf, just steps to the beach. Would love to live here some day. Two TV%26#39;s, one in living area and one in master bedroom. Since there%26#39;s only 8 cottages, there is plenty of private beach area directly in front of these units. They have the most beautiful sunsets every night. Quieter and nicer than Madeira beach. We spent the first two nights in Maderia beach. Had to park across the street from the hotel, inadequate parking, got electrocuted twice by their coffe pot. The building is quite old and desperately needs updating. It was the schooner we stayed at in Madeira and will not return. But Indian Rocks is beautiful, less crowded, and close to all sorts of good restaraunts, which are not ridiculously priced and you get good food. Check out JD%26#39;s, PJ%26#39;s and Guppy%26#39;s has been recommended although didn%26#39;t make it there. Since there is a full itchen and bbq, we enjoyed cooking dinners many nights at home, and had a dishwasher to throw the dishes into to. Highly recommend Indian Rocks Beach.

The 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage described above is larger than the others, I believe it is number 8 and is one of the two larger cottages which are closer to Gulf Blvd , the other 7 cottages are small, about 500 sq ft of living space. There are several other cool cottage properties in Indian Rocks Beach.
