I found a pool home in a subdivision called High Grove. Just a few questions for anyone who has stayed here or knows anything about it. I was wondering how traffic is to get to the disney parks from here? The owner says its a brand new home, is this a new subdivision? How long of a drive is it to the parks?

Highgrove is a fairly new community and is right at the west end of 192 and so avout a 12-15 mins drive to the parks and you can make use of Sherberth road.
The only real negative thing I have heard about it is that at certain times there is a dreadful whiff from the nearby water treatment plant.

YUCK, we planned to spend quite a bit of time out in the pool. Now I am not so sure, I don%26#39;t think we will find it very relaxing with a nasty smell in the air. Thanks for the help.

Hi...Did you end up here? I was looking to go there, too in october 2008.
There are plenty of other communities in this area and in the area around Champions Gate. We stayed on Windwood Bay earlier this year and some friends stayed on Souther Dunes.
am going in 2 weeks to highgrove there is 7 of us and i will post when i get back and let you all know how we got on
Spent two weeks over Christmas at Highgrove and had a great time.
Very nice community with a small clubhouse,pool,gym,table football and pool table.There were also a couple of computers there to use although we had wi-fi in our villa and a games room.
It is not so close to the parks but we only wanted to do a couple of days in them.There is a 24 hour Walmart across the road with various chain restaurants and a few other independent ones at Cagans Crossing all within ten minutes walk if you dont want to take the car.
It is situated at the end of the 192 on US 27 although you can cut through to the parks as someone else suggested.
