To avoid long ques in April im looking into purchasing the Universal Express Pass Plus. It works out $207 for 4 Adults.
And is only available on 5th April.
A Universal Hotel stay works out $269 for 1 night.
But includes a free Express Pass.
Would the Pass be valid for the day of arrival or day of leaving or cover both days??

just got back from Orlando last week. The best 20 dollars I spent was to upgrade to the express pass. We got off the rides and got right back on right away. no waiting. the other lines were very long so it was nice to upgrade to express. That is 20 dollars each ticket. Have fun, Better than disney

Staying on site at a Universal Hotel the express pass is good for both day of arrival and day of departure...all day for both.
Im confused, what did u up grade on? Your entrance ticket?
Looking up prices the minimum price i can see is $40.
Looking on their web for the same 1day/2park
costs different prices of $40, $50 $55????
Does the price differ on the date ?
Does it work out cheaper booking it direct the Uni of different web or in the Park?

Hi Caz We have bought these in the past and the price does differ from day to day - You are only meant to use them once on each ride, they sometimes put a mark on the ticket to say you%26#39;ve been on a particular ride so you can%26#39;t use again.
We got very lucky one day (possibly a quieter day) and were able to go on rides more than once.
We definately recommend the Express Pass though.

The only express pass available on the 5th is the one you say, but for $40.99 each adult you can by one for the 1st to the 4th, on the 12th, 19th and 26th:
You can buy one for the $30.99 for dates of 6th, 11th and 25th: and one for $25.99 for dates 7th to 10th, 13th to 18th, 20th to 24th and 27th to 30th - all of these dates are in April I was not sure when you were actually there. You need to scroll down a bit on the page you were on. All the tickets were adult prices.
This was for the 2 parks in 1 day option. Basically, the days Universal think will be really busy will be the most expensive for an express pass and the least busy days will be the cheaper express pass - hope this helps in your decisions.

If i can get the $20 upgrade like some1 mentioned earlier i think ile do that or i mite b greedy book in at the Universal Pacific n get the 2 day pass which comes free if staying on site . we will also be saving on taxi fares then 2.
Im going to look around n see if i can get the hotel cheaper.

We always stay in the hotel, try the web site http://www.univacations.com, you can get a price. Royal Pacific Resort is the cheapest hotel and very good. Also join their Lowes Club see on the Lowes web site, this is the company who owns the hotel, and you may get room upgrade when you get there. Also handy to ring hotel, tell them you are Lowes member , waiting on your card and memberships no. and you can get a good rate. $269 (拢134)is about correct rate. Remeber these rooms hold 5 people and all get key card to use in the parks as Express passes. Some days the park passes can rise right up to $89 each so have always found staying in hotel one night better value. Passes are valid for day of check in and check out and you can still use hotel pool all day on day of check out. Good Luck
