Bachelorette Party in Tampa

Hi everyone!!

I%26#39;m planning my friend%26#39;s Bachelorette party this year and we%26#39;re coming to FL!! My parent%26#39;s have a house in Bradenton, so we%26#39;re going to be staying there, but then coming into Tampa that Saturday night.

I%26#39;m looking for ideas on fun places to go, things to do in Tampa for a Bachelorette party. Any ideas are welcome!! We will probably get a limo to take us out there and we%26#39;re hoping to go to some fun bars, clubs. Really any ideas!!

We%26#39;re coming out 4th of July weekend, but the night we%26#39;ll be in Tampa is that Saturday, the 5th.

Thanks SO much for all your help!!

Bachelorette Party in Tampa

I guess it depends on what you want to do and what type of bars you like.

I just went on a bachelorette party about a month ago. We had a limo and it took us to dinner at Malio%26#39;s in downtown Tampa (had a private room - there were several of us). We then went to Channelside and went to Banana Joe%26#39;s as the bachelorette wanted to dance. We then took the limo to Howard Ave. and went to Whiskey Park (which is now closed).

Our bachelorette did not want to go to Ybor, but I think it%26#39;s a good option for a bachelorette party. There are tons of bars and you can walk down 7th Ave. and take your pick of what you like.

Hyde Park/Soho area also has several bars. MacDinton%26#39;s is a casual bar that has a live band on Sat. nights; Dubliner is small and also casual; Mangroves is kind of loungey; the Rack on Platt is bar with pool tables and across the street is Hyde Park Cafe.

Channelside also has several bars - Banana Joe%26#39;s, Howl at the Moon, Stumps, Margarita Mama%26#39;s, and I think there is a new one also.

Have fun!

These are GREAT suggestions!! Thank you so much!! I know our Bachelorette will want to dance :) What I%26#39;m wondering is, should we be making reservations anywhere?? Maybe for dinner?? But do the bars/clubs get real bad where we might not get in places unless we reserve a table or things like that?? Are we able to dress up a bit or will we look out-of-place?? Also what time are the bars open until??

Thanks again!!

Moira

You may want to make reservations for dinner (especially if there are several of you). You%26#39;ll be able to get into any bar without a problem. And yes, you can dress up. Tampa tends to be mostly casual, but you%26#39;ll see girls in dresses (especially in July when it is HOT and humid), nice jeans and top, etc.

Not sure what type of restaurant you want, Ybor has tons of options. I think Taverna Opa is fun and has good greek food. On Howard Ave. (Soho area), Lime is good and has a trendy atmosphere. Lime also has a private room that you can reserve. 717 South is also good on Howard and has a private room. Side Bern%26#39;s is great - a bit more upscale.

Forgot to add that the bars close at 3am in Tampa. Have fun!

You%26#39;ve been SUCH a help!! I really appreciate it!!
