oh no maybe march???

So thought we had May 2009 all planned now hubby thinks low 90%26#39;s will be too hot.( I guess with all the miles you guys talk about walking it might be) So how early in March would we need to go to avoid spring break. Easter is April 12th in %26#39;09.And would it be warm enough? I just don%26#39;t want to be wearing blue jeans and sweatshirts. A light jacket in the am with shorts would be ok. Thanks!!!

This year%26#39;s early March Easter is bad for the tourist industry. They figure rooms will go begging in April.

March is usually a peak month, especially for Miami. Certainly for us in Vero Beach. I would suggest trying for immediately after Easter next year, or alternatively the first week in April when there might be a tiny lull between the March hordes and the Easter people.

We had two nights near 40 degrees last week, but that was a quick cold snap within a long period of high temperatures around 80.

I don%26#39;t know what you had planned, but I did Disney a few years ago in May, it reached the low 90%26#39;s but with all of the indoor air conditioned rides, stores and restaurants it was not bad at all. Not to mention I was with my three year old son who tends to overheat easily, but he was also fine walking the whole park.

Okay so it is pretty clear most prefer May. I will try to compromise(with the hubby). Would April 26th week be far away enough away from Easter to avoid the big crowds. Or would March the 8th be early enough to avoid the Spring Breakers. If none of this will work it will be May then.

I think you%26#39;d see lower prices and less crowding in early May.

You would have to come the first week of March to totally miss the spring break crowds, and even then you%26#39;ll have a few thanks to Bike week and baseball spring training.

Yes, April 26 THIS YEAR will miss most of the Easter and spring break crowds, since Easter is so early in 2008.

What about 2009? Easter is April 12th next year.

For 2009, you can expect Easter weekend to be very busy, then the next weekend will be quiet. Assuming anyone can still afford the gas, convoys of recreational vehicles will be migrating north.

Im going on 28th March till 11th April. (Easter School Hols in Essex)(Not sure bout rest of uk).

Will that be the same vacation dates as USA ?
