Orlando weather in March

My husband and I are coming to Orlando six weeks from today (beginning on March 7th) to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We haven%26#39;t been to Disney in almost 20 years, so we are very excited about going to the parks. I%26#39;m a big concerned about March weather... how warm will it be? I was hoping to spend a few days at the beach or at Disney%26#39;s water parks, will it be warm enough?

Orlando weather in March

We were in Orlando last year at the same time frame that you are inquiring of and we found the weather to be wonderful...but from people that live in the midwest anything above 40 degrees was great for us. The average temps everyday while we were there were around 80 degrees. We had a few showers but they were quick followed by shining sun. I know many people including ourselves that 80 degrees is great weather and with heated water a pool or waterpark is fantastic..others might not be so inclined. As for the beach. It gets rather windy and with temps around 75-80 it might be a bit chilly so don%26#39;t base your whole trip around it...

Don%26#39;t forget the sunscreen no matter what the temp is. I think the sun%26#39;s rays in Orlando are alot stronger than what they are in NY and in my neck of the woods. It can be a mild day and you realize that you are sun burnt before you know it.

Waterparks, yes. The water is heated so no matter the air Temps, just pick the warmest Day and have plenty of towels handy for when you get out of the water, just incase.

The beach might be iffy. I would go to the Gulf Coast, if you can ( about 2 hour drive ) it%26#39;s a bit warmer over there.

How exciting to be going to Disney after 20 years, there will be plenty to fill your days :)
