Catamaran snorkel trip

I found the Caribbean Spirit and the Fury for a catamaran snorkel trip. Any opinion of these two? One better than the other? Looking a probably taking the 1/2 day trip.

They both do a great job and if you took them back-to-back you wouldn%26#39;t notice a difference in the trip. The Fury is usually a little less expensive if you pre-book on line or with a vendor on the street, and for some reason the Caribbean Spirit is slightly more expensive in the afternoon than in the morning. ($3.00. More popular?) I like the Spirit because it is the prettiest boat with the two masts, but also go with the Fury.

They both also do a snorkel / sunset sail combo for almost the same price as a single snorkel.

Yep, that Caribbean Spirit is one beautiful boat. And if you are in no hurry, being able to sail really adds to the experience.

Though, the fact of the matter is, Caribbean Spirit nearly ALWAYS wins the annual Wreckers Races. For such a large boat, not only does she handle well, she flies!

I always see couples and families sitting in the passenger section of the boat, underneath the roof, on the sail out, and want to tell them to get up and stand at the rail once the boat clears the Bight.

They miss seeing the hotels along the north side, the cruiseships and Mallory Docks, Sunset Key the beach at Fort Zach. Then they miss playing look-outs for flying fish and maybe dolphins or a sea turtle. But they also mss just watching the water and how it changes colors as the bottom changes.

On the sail back everyone has realized this and waves and yells at the people on the Docks as they come in. Must be the amount of fun they have had plus a drinker two.

Once the captain says you can move around the boat, get up and take a look around. See if one of you can man the helm while the other snaps a shot.

I have not been on the Fury, so cannot comment. I and my friends had such a great time on the Carribean Spirit, we took another trip. One was morning, the other an evening snorkel/sunset cruise. The staff were so friendly and helpful to first time snorkelers.

These are the trips that I like when I%26#39;m there myself - combo snorkel / sunset sail. I normally would not go out on a sunset sail alone, but these are usually the same cost as a snorkel or a sunset sail and everybody has a good time snorkeling then viewing the sunset and coming in with drinks.
