Hilton Singer Island

Hi -

My husband, daughter and I will be staying at the Hilton Singer Island resort in April. I thought we would be at the Marriott Ocean Pointe - its some type of timeshare deal, but now my reservation says the Hilton. What is the place like? My daughter is 17 so hopefully she won%26#39;t be too bored. Is the place clean, what about the restaurant? Is it true they charge $$$ for a bed chair at the beach? Also, how far is Fort Lauderdale? We want to visit some friends down there. Thanks for any help!

Hilton Singer Island

Tbe Hilton is nice. The Marriott Ocean Pointe is much nicer and newer. The Hilton is clean and has a beachfront restaurant which has good food. ';They'; don%26#39;t charge for the beach chairs, it is a private concession who rents them out. The Hilton has lounges at the pool for no charge. If your daughter gets bored she could always go shopping on nearby PGA Blvd. Ft Lauderdale is about an hours drive.
