Please Help! Beach and then orlando-Which Parks? etc!

I am going crazy trying to plan an April Spring Break trip. Would like to enjoy the beach before going on to Disney. Kids are ages 2 and 7. We have been to MK and Seaworld both parks twice, but have never tried the beach while in Orlando. Kids love both parks,but would love to try something new.Driving will take up 2 days so we will only have 2 days at beach and then 2 days at the parks. We have stayed both on and off site before. Love the on site convenience, but not sure if we can swing the extra money this time.I am thinking of IOA and AK.

Thoughts on those parks for a 2 and 7 yr old?

Where should we stay? Clean w/ nice pool area,close, but reasonable? Thx.

Keep in mind getting to the Beach will take 1 hour ( to the Ocean ) or 2 hours ( to the Gulf ) so that will take a bit of your time up.

For Disney I recomend Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. They could both be done in 1 day and still give you another day to visit Magic Kingdom, I would guess your kids wouldn%26#39;t mind going there again :)

Thx. 2 yr old is really into Dr. Seuss. Is IOA worth it for the Suess land?

i would go to clearwater beach.

as for parks...i generally wouldn%26#39;t recommend taking a two year old to IOA, because they will have to skip so much. these are the ride requirements for IOA, will your 2 year old be able to ride anything?

Revenge of the MummySM- Must be at least 48';

Jimmy Neutron%26#39;s Nicktoon Blast鈩? Must be at least 40'; (persons under 40'; can experience this attraction from an adjacent stationary location.)

MEN IN BLACK鈩?Alien Attack鈩?- Must be at least 42';

Woody Woodpecker%26#39;s Nuthouse Coaster庐 - Must be at least 36';

Jurassic Park River Adventure庐 - Must be at least 42';

Pteranodon Flyers庐 - Must be at least 36'; (36'; to 56'; must be accompanied by an adult)

Dueling Dragons庐 - Must be at least 54';

Flying Unicorn庐 - Must be at least 36';

Dudley Do-Right%26#39;s Ripsaw Falls庐 - Must be at least 44';

Popeye %26amp; Bluto%26#39;s Bilge-Rat Barges庐 - Must be at least 42';

Incredible Hulk Coaster庐 - Must be at least 54';

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man庐 - Must be at least 40';

Doctor Doom%26#39;s Fearfall庐 - Must be at least 52';

The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride!鈩?- Must be 34';. (Children 34'; to 48'; must be accompanied by an adult.)

there are some play areas in IOA (me ship the olive, camp jurassic, and if i ran the zoo), but do you really want to either skip all/most of the rides and spend all that money to stay there for a couple hours? or go on the rides and leave him/her behind?

if i were you i would skip universal for this trip, and wait until he is at least old enough to do some rides. if you decide not to do IOA, i would take your kids to animal kingdom, and to a disney waterpark, or aquatica (the new seaworld waterpark, however this one may be very crowded)

sorry the first four ride restrictions i posted were for universal...

If she really loves Seuss, then yes. I don%26#39;t think you need to give IOA a whole day tho, can be done in 1/2 day. For more info check-out
