Are there any hotels next to Longboat Key Club?

We are visiting for a weekend in early March and need a place close to the Longboat Key Club. The closest I see on this site is the Colony Beach but I wonder if there are others available that you can walk to from Longboat Key Club. Friends are staying at LKC but they don%26#39;t allow 2 or 3 nights and that is all we need. I can see a lot of places on the satellite map but they may all be condos. Any help would be great.

There really aren%26#39;t any hotels next to the Longboat Key Club. The LBKC is gated and is a very large piece of property. There are tennis courts, a golf course and condos/residential properties all behind the gates. I don%26#39;t recall the fact that you cn%26#39;t rent rooms for 2 or 3 nights. I have stayed there 1 night.

You can check out the Gulf Tides Resort (Not sure if they rent for 2-3 nights) or the Colony.

There are many others, but further away.

Thanks for the information. It looks like you need to stay for 4 nights at LKC. Their web site said that nothing was available for 3 nights when I checked for a quote but when I bumped it up to 4 it had rooms available.
