Saba Winds

We are staying at Saba Winds and getting married on the beach in front of the house in May. Can anyone give me a review on the house? Also how far is it into Captiva villiage and are there any restauraunts / shops in walking distance? Thanks for any info anyone may have.

Saba Winds

You%26#39;ll be a low way from Captiva Village, about 2-3 miles. You can walk to 3 restaurants and a small convenience store at Blind Pass. No gift shops. Two of the restaurants are excellent, Mad Hatter [dinner only] and Sunset Grill [B,L,D] and ultra casual bar and seafood place, Lazy Flamingo.

After Hurricane Charley in 2004 Saba Winds was extensively renovated.and recently [this past year] a fourth bedroom was added. Last I heard it was owned by a local living over on the mainland and he only uses Saba Winds South once in a great while. He used to rent both houses, but now he rents just the North house. They share the lap pool. The house is a very short walk to Blind Pass Bridge.

Never stayed in Saba Winds, but wanted to. With the new $1000 per week price increase, I doubt I%26#39;ll ever rent it.
