question for locals

Any of you guys season ticket holders for the Devil Rays? Asking because I am looking for some tickets, so if any of you are and would be willing to part with 2 for one game.

question for locals

tickets for the Rays are usually pretty easy to come by. Just check ticketmaster.com

question for locals

Are you looking for someone to give you FREE tickets?!?

Because Rays tix (no longer the Devil Rays) are incredibly easy to get. Most games - unless they are playing the Red Sox or Yankees - have thousands of good seats available for walk-up purchase, at reasonable prices. If you do want to buy in advance, tickets go on sale 2/18 at raysbaseball.com. You don%26#39;t need to ';know someone'; to get tickets.

Go Rays!!!!

Well it would be the mighty Red Sox I%26#39;m coming down to see and my wife and I would love some seats behind the visitors dugout.

Why and when did the Rays drop the %26#39;devil%26#39; in the team name? And why are they getting a new stadium so soon?

Ah, I see. As long as you don%26#39;t wait too long, you%26#39;ll be able to get decent seats. I don%26#39;t know when you%26#39;re coming, but it is much easier to get good seats to see the Northern teams during the summer months than in April when the snowbirds are still around.

The Rays changed their name, logo and uniforms last fall. The new(ish) ownership sees it as a way to get the team a fresh beginning. The new stadium (if it happens - it%26#39;s far from a done deal) is because Tropicana Field was not built for baseball, so occasionally the dome and its supports come into play, which of course is not a good thing. And they hope a new stadium would boost attendance. I like going to games at the Trop, but the new design looks fantastic!

Maya58 the new stadium might look nice but I think they should pay more attention to getting a better team. It might help fill all the empty seats. When we go there%26#39;s more fans from the other teams than ours. As long as they charge the tax payers of Pinellas it%26#39;s okay with me if they want a new stadium. Just don%26#39;t come looking for money across the bay!

To Stevenkate, Boston and Yankees are probably more popular. My son loves the Yankees and the attendence is a lot higher. We usually have no problems getting tickets. We sit no higher than ten rows up behind home plate -- family preference.

Good luck with the tickets. This will give you the opportunity to see how badly designed the stadium is for baseball.
