Getting to grocery without a car?

We are going to stay at the Coranado Springs and we will not have a car. Was wondering if we could get snacks and beer for our room somewhere close without paying a fortune!

You will pay more for the convenience of purchasing such items from the gift shop at the resort, but it won%26#39;t cost you transport.

If you don%26#39;t mind walking a bit and carrying your items a while, you can take the Disney bus to Downtown Disney, then cross the large parking lot to the HESS convenience store across Buena Vista Drive and purchase items there.

If you don%26#39;t mind a really long walk, you can take a Disney bus to DTD, walk down Hotel Plaza Blvd, and go to the Goodings Supermarket on S.R. 535 at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd.

If you don%26#39;t want to do all the walking, get a taxi and go to the Goodings store or the Publix on Hwy 192 in Kissimmee.

Thanks Kat-just wanted to get some things for the room--probably will do the Downtown Disney thing -I am sure that Hess Mart will have the things we need. Just wanted to be able to have a beer in the room without paying big money to do so. Also could you suggest a place for us to have one nice meal while in Disney. Not going to the parks but could go to another resort. We can do that can%26#39;t we?

There are several good restaurants to have a meal in the resorts that don%26#39;t require a park visit.

Are you taking a taxi in or themagic Express? If taking a taxi you could stop on the way inn. but I%26#39;m thinking you%26#39;ll be on the coach and have to do the Hess thing. You can always pack some ambient stuff like snacks etc. in your cases.

We are doing the magic express. Had planned on taking some things in my suitcase but not drinks. It is no big deal for us to walk a little bit. We are going for a trade show and just can%26#39;t afford the prices of some of the things that I have heard about. Again, thanks everyone for the info!
