Nightlife: Ybor City and the nearby Channelside area.
There are several area companies that take groups out to Egmont Key for snorkeling and touring around the island. They%26#39;re typically dolphin watch/snorkel tours. I went several years ago and loved it. The island isn%26#39;t far from Ft. Desoto park, which is at the very, very southern tip of St. Pete Beach. The island consists of a working lighthouse (you can see it from St. Pete Beach at night), the ruins of an old fort, beautiful, unspoiled beaches, and sunken ruins for snorkeling. It%26#39;s a fun way to spend a day.
