Valet Parkeing at Universal...Worth it??

We%26#39;ll be going next week with our 2 y/o and don%26#39;t want a hike to the car at the end of the day.

So with Valet parking do you drive right up to the front of Universal?

Thanks in advance!

If you valet park you%26#39;ll arrive at the top end of City Walk, you still have to walk down to the gates, but it%26#39;s still a lot nearer that if you park in the car park, well worth IMO, especailly with a little one in tow.

I%26#39;m not sure about Universal having valet service. I know they do have preferred parking, where you pay more to park closer to the entrance that leads to the complex that leads to the entrance to the parks:} Not to worry, they have moving sidewalks all the way to the entrances! I take it you are not staying at one of the hotels within the complex?

Found this info on valet parking:

Valet Parking. Get in the Hollywood spirit by having an attractive young attendant park your car for you as you pull up right at CityWalk. The fee is $9 if you stay for less than two hours and $18 for over two hours. But leave your car overnight and it will set you back $25. Annual Pass holders pay a flat rate of $8 no matter how long they stay. Just follow the signs. If you are coming just for lunch Monday through Friday, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., you can have your parking stub validated at most full-service CityWalk restaurants (Emeril鈥檚 sometimes validates at other times including dinner and on weekends). A stay of under two hours is free and two to four hours is $9, but a stay of over four hours will cost you the full $18, even with validation.

The parking area at Universal is larger than the state of Rhode Island and more confusing than the Rt. 2 rotary,so valet might not be a bad idea.

Hi, we used the valet parking at Universal last year.IMO it is well worth the extra money, a lot less hassle after a long day walking around.

Have a brilliant holiday.

Universal parking is mostly in a parking garage with escalators and flat belt people movers that take you 80% of the way from your parking level to the top of City Walk.

With a two year old, they may enjoy the escalators and people movers as much as the park ;).

If you can afford to valet park, it would be okay, if not, you won%26#39;t walk much anyway. Parking is very easy to figure out, like any large park, just remember what level you parked on and which row helps also. Good luck and have fun!
