Just returned home after a week at the Beach Haven Inn, in Daytona. Although we stayed there two years ago, the property seems to have deteriorated substantially since. As I understand it, the Beach Haven Inn and the Sands, next door, are being run by a management group of foreign origin. The property will be torn down within the next year or two and I think they are running things just to get by. Not real clean.

That is a shame, it should be clean now, even if they are going to tear it down in the future. No excuse.
